In aid of my first blog post I thought I would write about a certain inspiration that I have been following for years and who has just taken her first step into the world of beauty retail.

Tanya Burr is a well known fashion and beauty blogger and you-tuber. I started watching Tanya's videos about four years ago and have become addicted. She holds the perfect balance of beauty wisdom and a warm personality. Now she has just released her first beauty collection with Eye Candy - currently available at Feelunique.

                           

I was lucky enough to get a chance to meet Tanya last week, at a Selfridges event held by Clarisonic, and she is just as lovely in the flesh as she is on our screens. The night before had been the event, releasing Tanya Burr's Lips and Nails, so it was great to meet her and chat about her launch.

I ordering two lipgloss shades from the collection. Having not been a lipgloss lover I had been
completely converted. Both colours have amazing opaque formulas, they are non sticky and really long lasting. 'Chic' is the neutral shade of the two, with a slight coral undertone. Exotic Island (Tanya was wearing this at her meet up) is the brighter offering, a fuschia with blue undertones. The packaging is very Nars-esk with Tanya's signisture motif, and with a sweet fruity smell they are overall the perfect lick liping gloss at £5.99.

Tanya has proved to all hopefull bloggers that these kinds of achievements can happen by being consistent. I am so pleased for her and will be trying out more from the collection.
